I am a pastor’s kid and have grown up in ministry life living up and down the mid-west from Michigan to Texas. I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age and I surrendered my life to God my first semester at Mission University in Springfield, Mo. After graduating I worked for 2 years in Enid Oklahoma as a Youth Pastor and then moved to Tyler TX to work as the Associate Pastor for 17 years at the church where my dad is the pastor. My wife, Brook, is from Toledo, and her grandparents are from Ida. We have a daughter, Cierra who is 24yrs old.
I recently celebrated 10 years at Cornerstone, where I’m passionate about teaching the Bible and encouraging every member to find their own way to serve God. I also serve as the head chaplain for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. In that role, I support officers and people facing difficult, life-changing events by offering advice, encouragement, prayer, and pointing them toward Christ.
In my free time, I enjoy fixing cars, playing and watching soccer, target shooting, and spending time with family. Brook is a Graphic Artist and Photographer and works as an Art & Technology Teacher in Erie MI. Cierra is currently serving in the Navy as a Master At Arms and is stationed in Silverdale, WA.
We love being part of Cornerstone. God has truly brought us to a wonderful church. Our congregations loves serving our community and making a positive impact in people’s lives, sharing hope and the love of Christ.
